- Acceptance of the conditions
The customer acknowledges to have acquainted, at the time of the placing the order, special conditions of sale and expressly declares to accept them without reserve. The current general conditions of sale govern the contractual relations between Vedic-heritage.com and its customers; both parties accept them without reserve. These general conditions of sale are applied whatever the order means chosen: by Internet or quite other order placing means. They can be changed at any time, the customer is thus invited to read them regularly. The orders are managed by the on-line general conditions at the date of the order.
Vedic-heritage.com does its utmost to present at the best products through photos or available specification sheets. The main products offered by Vedic-heritage.com to its customers are available in its warehouse.
The customer can place his order by Internet (by email or through the website), or by postal mail, and fills himself his personal details. Vedic-heritage.com will not be responsible for the mistakes due to bad forwarding of emails, nor errors regarding the dispatching of the parcels due to a badly filled form. Each customer can cancel his order at any time before the payment is submitted, by sending an email or a mail with all the important information (reference number, name, address, date and amount of the order). Once it is paid, an order cannot be cancelled, and the amount paid cannot be refunded.
The products offers and prices (all in US$) are valid as long as they are shown on the website, within the limits of available stocks. If necessary, more information can be given by email. If Vedic-heritage.com is for a moment in stock shortage on a product for more than 8 days, it would notify the delay to the customer by return of email and this one could choose to wait, to change his order towards another choice in the range of Vedic-heritage.com products or to cancel his order. Vedic-heritage.com reserves the right to cancel or to refuse a customer’s order with whom there would be a dispute concerning a previous order.
- Becoming Retailer
The customer can be interested to resell Vedic-heritage.com products. In that case, he has to fill in an identification sheet on the website, to communicate his recording number with regard to the Commercial Register of his country and let know his motivations. Vedic-heritage.com reserves the right to accept or not his application. If he is accepted as retailer, he will be granted a special discounted price-list, according to a compulsory minimum order amount and will also have the possibility to manage his account on-line. Otherwise, as regards the other points of the order: – Delivery – Payment…, conditions remain the same as customer’s ones. Vedic-heritage.com reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order from a retailer with whom there would be a dispute concerning a previous order.
- Delivery times
The orders are carried out every day from Monday till Friday. Orders time limit changes according to the chosen means of payment, to the availability of stocks, to procedures in force in the company and in the country of receipt of the order. Vedic-heritage.com undertakes to deliver to the post-office/carriers all the references ordered by the buyer. The dispatchings are done by air, and all parcels are registered. The time delivery is approximately 15 working days. The order will be delivered to the address written by the customer. Vedic-heritage.com cannot be considered as responsible for possible late delivery due to a routing delayed by post/carrier or quite any other intermediary. In case of delay, the customer has to contact first and foremost his distributing post office. Actually, in case of absence of the customer, the parcel must be taken at the post office with an identity card. In case of turned out delay in delivery, the customer has to quickly contact Vedic-heritage.com to make open an inquiry for the location of the parcel: it may be misled and Vedic-heritage.com will take charge with making a file of complaint open. In this situation, it is thus possible that the company asks the customer necessary documents for the settlement of the file. The answer, linked by that of the transport company, can be two types: either the parcel is found and it goes on its routing up to the customer, or the parcel is declared lost and Vedic-heritage.com informs the customer about it. This last one will decide on the return of the goods or on a refund requirement (on the charged amount). In receipt of the parcel by the customer, this one has a 48 hours period to indicate in writing (email, or registered mail) any complaint of nonconformity of products as regards: kind, quality or quantity with regard to the indications appearing on the invoice. Any complaint not done in rules, as defined above, can’t be taken into account and will release Vedic-heritage.com from any responsibility towards the customer. In case of strikes of the post office or one of its partners, Vedic-heritage.com will do its utmost to inform the customer about the delay, but the responsibility of Vedic-heritage.com can’t be committed. In every case of act of God (climatic, armed conflict, etc.), in India or abroad, Vedic-heritage.com reserves the right to interrupt the dealings with the concerned areas without committing its responsibility. The customer has to inquire with the local authorities of his residence about the conditions of import and use of the ordered products and has to make any declaration or payment corresponding to the demand of the competent authorities in the country (D.D.U. Incoterm).
The price are written and debited in US dollars. The price, indicated on product sheets does not include the transport cost. The price indicated in the handling and confirmation of order is the final price and includes the price of products, the costs of handling, packaging, preservation of products and transport fees. In some cases, custom fees may be charged extra to the customer at the time of delivery.
- Secured payment
The price charged to the customer is the indicated price on the website, or on the confirmation of order sent to him by Vedic-heritage.com by email, if this e-mail address was passed on to us and valid. Several means of payment are proposed:
• Paypal, or any credit/debit card accepted by Paypal (through Paypal account)
• Bank transfer (if you bank account is outside India, you will have to pay extra charges)
The order will be carried out as soon as Vedic-heritage.com receives your full payment (in whatever form).
Credit card or debit card
To assure safe and protected communication on your data, we use Paypal that has SSL coding technique (Secure Sockets Layer). In the process, Vedic-heritage.com never comes to know your card details. During the purchase, a debit request will be sent to your bank by means of our Terminal of Electronic Payment (TPE). The order will be really validated when the centres of banking payment will have given their agreement. In case of refusal of the said centre, the order will automatically be cancelled.
The modalities will be confirmed by email. The order will be handled from receipt of the total amount of the bill in the bank account.
A cash payment has to be the subject of a preliminary acceptance by Vedic-heritage.com. The modalities will be confirmed in writing at this moment.
The present contract is subjected to the Indian law. In case of disputes which couldn’t have been settled out of Court by mutual agreement, the court of Kolkata will be the only Court of jurisdiction.
- Legal information
The nominal and specific information collected for the purposes of the mailorder selling are compulsory, these information being necessary for the handling and the routing of the orders and the issuing of invoices. Missing of information entails the cancellation of the order. According to the Computing law and Liberties of January 6th, 1978, the customer has a right of access, modification, rectification and deletion of his data, which he can exercise with Vedic-heritage.com.
